Off to Cabo

It's finally here...our trip to Cabo San Lucas!!! We are so excited, and looking forward to a relaxing getaway, doing nothing but laying on the beach and eating good food! The only downside is how much we are going to miss our little bug! I know she will be in good hands with the grandmothers, though!

I'll have lots of pictures to post when we get back!!! Until then....Adios!

Rub a dub dub....

....Sara's in the tub!!

I love these pictures! Sara is such a happy little girl and a joy to be around. I can't wait to wake up every morning just to see her and my favorite part of the day is when I go pick her a daycare. I always get butterflies in my stomach when I walk through the door b/c I am so excited to see her. And as soon as she sees me, she gives me the biggest smile and starts waving her arms for me to get her. Oh, I wish it was that time right now! :)

And just out of curiosity, is there anybody out there who reads this blog at all? If so, maybe you could just drop a "Hi!" in the comments section. Just curious if I am the only one that ever reads it. (Really I just look at it for the pictures! ;)

The BIG 10

Happy 10 months Sara!

Little Miss Sara turned 10 months old this weekend. At her 9 month checkup she was 29 1/4 inches and almost 20 lbs. She is right on track for babies her age! She is doing really well, and has been ear infection free since she got her tubes. We took her in a couple weeks ago for her follow-up and he said her ears looked great! Over the past month Sara has been getting closer and closer to walking. She loves to stand up, and she actually has really good balance, enough that she will occasionally let go of whatever she is holding on to. It should be much longer before we'll have a walker on our hands! Sara has also become a lot more vocal, and she is discovering new sounds everyday. Her newest sound is "DubbaDubbaDubba" and she can clearly say "Hi" and "Bye Bye" and she knows exactly what they mean, and to wave anytime they are said. I have also started trying to feed her more table foods, she loves gravy and biscuit, macaroni, and she is now eating "real" applesauce!

Here are a couple more pics from the past month:
